The little cabin in the mountains!

The Buffalo Run Cabin is paradise for anyone who loves the outdoors. This property is located only one mile from the Village of Chama but is a short 10 minute walk to the Rio Chama Fishing Easement. This pet-friendly* cabin has a covered deck on both the east and west for watching sunrise and sunset, horseshoe pit, and fire pit. Be on the lookout for wildlife as deer, elk and even bears are often seen around the property. The home can sleep 8 with a total of three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The two bedrooms on the first floor include a King Bed (bedroom 1), two sets of bunk beds (bedroom 2), and share a bathroom. The third bedroom is a large. open loft with a King Bed and private bathroom.
Enjoy watching wildlife on the covered deck on both the east and west side, sit around the fire pit, or play horseshoes in the yard. As with most of our properties in the Chama Valley, this cabin does not have Air Conditioning. Open up the windows and enjoy our fresh mountain air!

The space was perfect.

“This cabin is exactly what you think of when you’re hoping for a comfortable warm beautiful mountain cabin. The space was perfect. It has everything a kitchen would need, clean bathrooms, comfortable beds and plenty of space to spread out. We would definitely stay here again.”

Can’t wait to go back.

“Our stay in Chama was made all the more perfect by this beautiful cabin. We were constantly surprised by the attention to detail (we even had night lights for middle of the night bathroom visits). The place was CLEAN, decorated perfectly, and even had dispensers in the showers for shampoo, conditioner and soap. The kitchen was equipped with everything we could possibly need; the beds were comfortable and had a variety of linens and covers to choose from; lightweight pedestal fans were in every bedroom - along with ceiling fans; the windows opened easily and had screens - perfect for letting that cool night air in. This place is on our list of favorites. Can't wait to go back.”
